The One-Day Money Setup

How you set up your AI matters more than any prompt you will ever use. Nobody teaches this part. That is why most people have the tool and nothing to show for it.

Most people open Claude, type a question, get a generic answer, and decide AI is overrated. The problem is not the AI. The problem is that it knows nothing about you. Out of the box it is the smartest stranger on earth. Today you make it a business partner instead. One day of setup, five steps, and every conversation after this starts warm.

Step 1 — Tell it who you are. Properly.

Download the Claude desktop app. Open settings and find the instructions box. Do not just write your name. Give it your offer, your buyer, and your prices. Then add the line that changes everything:

I run [your business] selling [your offer] at [your price] to [your buyer]. Push back on me like a partner, not a cheerleader. When my plan has a hole, say so directly.

Step 2 — One project for your one offer

Create a single project for your one offer. Drop in your offer description, your proof, and your pricing. Now every chat inside that project is a business chat with full context, not a cold start.

Step 3 — Connect your email

Connect your inbox, and every morning have Claude draft your five follow-ups before you have had coffee. Five conversations working before your day starts. You approve, you send, you move on.

Step 4 — Feed it your voice

Paste in ten things you actually wrote. Posts, emails, texts to a friend. Then say:

This is how I talk. Study it. From now on, write like me, not like a robot. Keep my sentence length, my rhythm, and my words. Never use words I would never say.

Step 5 — The morning question

Open your project every day and ask one thing:

Who am I talking to today, and what do they need from me?

That is it. That is the money setup. One day, done right, beats six months of random prompting. It still takes showing up every day. The setup just makes the showing up count.
